Keep your HVAC System Humming in Tune with a Fall Check-up
It’s almost that time of year again when the leaves change color, the air becomes crisper, and homeowners turn up the heat. But before you start raising the thermostat, take the precaution to ensure that your home will stay toasty all fall and winter long by scheduling a fall tune-up. This preventative maintenance effort can save your family the hassle and discomfort of an out of order furnace down the road in the chilly month of December.
We recommend an HVAC check-up when the weather changes and you switch to either heating or cooling your home. Our Eco-Green Air (EGA) specialists are trained to thoroughly inspect both the outdoor and indoor units. While checking the outdoor unit your EGA technician will clean the inside of your unit and inspect all parts and motors and adjust as necessary. Indoor inspection involves cleaning and replacing air filters, inspecting ductwork, and making sure all parts are running smoothly.
Although a tune-up is a preventative measure, homeowners should make a conscious effort to monitor their HVAC systems. If you notice any abnormal noise or odors or any unusual changes in performance, call an EGA expert right away.
